Testour
Located close to the small town of Testour
in the north of Tunisia, the
farm is perched on the hills of MEDJERDA
VALLEY, 70 kilometers
south-west of the capital, Tunis.
Testour has been known since ancient times as Tichilla, it has been rebuilt by
refugees from Andalusia who gave it
its character in cultivating olive trees.
The farm of Testour spread over an area of 148 hectars and it benefits from 2400 hours of sunshine per year and has an average temperature of 18°C, and rainfall of 940mm/ year. The most important source of water is Medjerda River which is very close to the farm.
Today, the quality of this fertile land and its micro-climate results to a high diversity of tasteful fruits and produces an extra virgin olive oil with high herbaceous character.
